Original Music for Film


Multiple Dates, Braga (PT).


Three very different short films with equally different compositional approaches. For Mila Turajlic’s film, a visual self-reflection on traveling with no text or spoken word, I decided to compose a solo piano suite that could work as the acoustic mirror of the traveler’s inner journey.

For Puthima’s animation I had no doubt from the start that I would like to hear some Casiotone in there… I just never imagined that I would end up using Casiotone only: beats, basses, pads, leads – they all come out of my precious MT-68.

For Lye’s Colour Box I used a technique that I like to call musical graffitti: I painted my own soundtrack on top of the original one.
